Top tip from a professional decorator: dispense a SMALLER amount of paint into a paint kettle (as they are called in the UK at least) and do NOT lug around the full 5 gallon container! Much less spillage when you go ar-se over t-it.

Now make the poor guy a cup of tea and see if you have some spare clothes you can put out for him while he showers.
