I work for UPS. And UPS is still on the process of layoff and closing plants (started a year ago when we got the first contract with higher wages since the 80 or 90s). Some, like mine, "laying off "people and closing the plant (100's per shift) with the intent to automate and re-open in near 2 years with far less employees. For the numbers of Teamsters they originally listed last year being let go there were actually thousands of middle management that were let go that were never acknowledged. Some had worked for UPS for decades. Hard times for the working class are coming - across the board.
