@Picuilla
In Miami about 12 years ago I went to emergency for dizziness and vertigo, I was there 4 hours with Physician Asistan, no MD, bill $17,995.00. Something is very wrong with USA medical system.

@Katy & Timo ??
imagine going to the doc because you're not feeling very good and after the checkup you're broke

@Trump2024yo
some people literally avoid going to ER because they're not feeling well and end up dying from a heart attack to avoid bills

I repeatedly got vertigo in Indonesia, got ordered by Neurolog a skull MRI and paid 0, the insurance called JKN cost ca $10/month.

@Hard man
In China, you may only need to spend 10 dollars.

@3dhzxart

@Doina Airizer
I was at ER this past December after I past out and got a concusion bill $23 .000 for 6 hours of CT scans

@Picuilla
Agreed

同意。

@lzq010315

@uRaSk33tSta1n
What’s wrong with America’s health system is 100% greed and the government is backing it. I bet the cure for cancer is there but can’t make money off curing so it won’t get released.

It's not the medical system, it's the political system that's corrupted by lobbies. In most countries it would be the same if the government wouldn't allow it.

@k1ngd0m
1500 if you're lucky. some people have $3,000 or $5,000 deductibles. some even higher. And then they miscode everything and insurance doesn't cover it and then it's a big headache trying to get it sor

no way $1500. a blood test is $1000 in ER

@Official Internet Judge
No visit fees? No nothing else? You saying ONLY blood test fee of $1000 is all they will ever charge?

@JustNrik
$1500 is dirt cheap, my brother had diarrhea and he got charged $15k for all day treatment, insurance covered almost all of it but still

@Lucy Balli
You forgot to add, how would you like to pay for that.

@One Majestic Unicorn

Most people would just tape their finger to the one next to it and hope for the best.

@joshuadsn
well I'd rather have freedom of speech, religion, and of my body in the us.

@Official Internet Judge
All of the advanced nations have those and universal healthcare. In the US you have an illusion of those, and then also pay exponentially more for healthcare.

@joshuadsn
and healthcare in the US is reliable. plus your completely ignoring insurance. look at Canada, free but very bad health care.

@pirate_ass_rash
You must live in a bad area and have bad insurance

@Dr. Francesca Salimbeni
in Italy you have to wait about 12h . eventually you get the X-RAYS and the visit, but it's for free or for a very small amount of money

@ODH
i fell last year in Italy on a slippery rock in the Alps, went to a hospital in Torino and i got a xray and stiches in less than 1 hr. went super smooth, cost me less than 40 euros also...

@~Dave.Pld

the doctor came in and shook my hand, gave me one antibiotic in a tiny cup, said it was likely diverticulosis and that it was probably viral with no underlying cause. they did one blood work panel.
